Where to play padel in Sydney

Boss Hunting reported in July 2026 that Sydney had ten padel clubs, more than any other city in the country, and the Newcastle Herald reported 43 padel courts in New South Wales, mostly in Sydney. More have opened since. In August 2026 Sydney also hosted The Padel Invitational on a temporary court on the Northern Broadwalk of the Sydney Opera House, which explains why "padel Sydney Opera House" turns up in searches.

Where can I play padel in Sydney?

These venues were confirmed on the venue's own site or booking page in November 2026. They are grouped by state and listed in no particular order. I do not rank venues.

Padix in Castle Hill was bookable on Playtomic but its description still said it "will open soon", so check before you go. North Shore Racquet Club in Naremburn lists four padel courts as "coming next year".

Which Sydney padel clubs are in which area?

People also search for padel in the CBD, Manly, Brighton-Le-Sands and Liverpool. I did not find a venue in the CBD itself. Alexandria and Moore Park are the closest to the city, Cromer is the nearest for Manly, and Prestons is near Liverpool.

Is padel in Sydney mostly indoor?

Yes. Of the 14 open venues I found, 11 are fully indoors and Indoor Padel Australia in Alexandria has 16 indoor courts plus two outdoor ones. Tribe at North Ryde and Sydney Racquet Club at Moore Park are outdoor. That is the opposite of Perth, where every open venue I found is outdoors.

Indoor courts mean no rain-outs and no playing in the summer heat.

How much does padel cost in Sydney?

Few Sydney venues publish standard court hire rates on a page I could read. The ones that did, checked November 2026:

Sydney Racquet Club's price table is labelled by court type, so confirm the padel rate when booking. Sidewall Social also lists singles court hire at $30 off-peak and $35 standard, per player per hour.

Classes and socials are easier to price. Examples from venue booking pages: a 60-minute intro class at $20 at Play Nation and $40 at Indoor Padel Australia Northern Beaches, a 90-minute lunchtime social at $30 at Indoor Padel Australia Alexandria, and group coaching at $55 per person at Sidewall Social. Memberships ranged from $49 to $185 a month across the venues I checked.

Where can I learn padel in Sydney?

Almost every Sydney venue runs intro classes or coaching. A few examples from their booking pages:

• Indoor Padel Australia runs intro classes, weekly drills and private lessons at both clubs.
• Tribe North Ryde runs a coaching academy with levelled pathways.
• Sydney Racquet Club runs weekly intro, beginner, intermediate and ladies clinics.
• Play Nation runs beginner and intermediate coaching and an after-school kids program.
• Sidewall Social runs group and private coaching.

How do you book a padel court in Sydney?

Most Sydney venues take bookings on Playtomic, the padel booking app. Sidewall Social and Tribe also have their own websites. On Playtomic you can book a full court, join an open match that needs players, or sign up for a class. See how to book a padel court.

What padel clubs are coming to Sydney?

Announced or listed as coming soon, but not open when I checked:

• Bounce, Botany: six indoor panoramic courts listed on Playtomic as coming soon.
• Play Padel Seven Hills: six indoor panoramic courts, listed as opening soon.
• Padel Athletic Matraville: four courts at Matraville RSL, listed for late 2026.
• North Shore Racquet Club, Naremburn: four padel courts listed as coming next year.
