Padel courts

Official padel court dimensions in metres, glass and mesh walls, indoor versus outdoor courts, what a court costs to build in Australia and why clubs are opening.

Short answer: A padel court is 20 m by 10 m inside its walls, enclosed by 3 m glass walls topped with mesh to 4 m at the ends, with a net 0.88 m high in the centre. Indoor courts need at least 6 m of clear height. Australian builders publish court prices starting from about $60,000 per court, and competition-quality courts can cost $85,000 to $150,000 each before any building or canopy.

This section is for anyone curious about the court itself: players who want to understand the walls and surfaces, and clubs, schools, councils and property owners thinking about building one. Every measurement comes from the International Padel Federation's Rules of Padel, and every price from a named Australian builder's own website.
