About PadelGuide

PadelGuide is an independent guide to padel for Australians. It explains the rules in plain English, lists the padel venues I could verify in each city, and shows what playing and building courts really costs here.

Who writes it?

The guides are researched and written by Daniel Kilkelly. Daniel is not a padel coach, a sports official or a court builder, and does not hold any padel qualification. His job on this site is research: reading the official rulebooks, venue websites, booking pages, retailer listings and news reports, and turning them into clear, checked guides with a source for every fact.

That means you should treat technique and tactics on this site as general information, not coaching. For coaching, see a qualified coach at your local club. My lessons guide explains the options.

Is this site connected to a club or brand?

No. PadelGuide is not affiliated with Padel Australia, the International Padel Federation, Tennis Australia, any padel club, any booking app, or any racket or equipment brand or retailer. I do not take payment to list venues or shops, I have no affiliate links, and I do not accept free products.

How is the site funded?

At the moment the site has no advertising and no income. In future I may show advertising, such as Google AdSense, and may join affiliate programs with retailers. If I do, I will say so clearly on this page and in my editorial policy, and it will not change what I write about any venue or product.

How do you check facts?

Every rule comes from the International Padel Federation's Rules of Padel. Every venue was checked on its own website or booking page. Every price has a source and a date. All facts were last checked in November 2026. The full method is in my editorial policy, and every source is listed on the sources page.

Found a mistake?

Venues open, close and change their prices all the time. If something on the site is wrong or out of date, please get in touch and include a link to where the correct information is published.
